Silly question really, of course you want to make an impact on somebody about something, somewhere. The question really should be to make your impact are you willing to go through the process of being shaped? Most people will say they are, until the shaping starts, until they find themselves in the wilderness or struggling or being ridiculed, bad mouthed, put down and spoke wrongly about.
We will come though the learning stage with knowledge, but how we understand that knowledge will determine how we grow. If we understand that difficulties teach more than success, that trouble humbles us to be prepared for the next stage of being respected we might move on to act with authority. Not authoritarian but that which is respected.
With that kind of authority we can move forward to taking our faith to a higher level of expectation (being able to trust God for things you could not previously believe Him for) and then, only as we act on that faith and put practical steps into action will we begin to make the kind of impact we dreamed about. Make prayer your friend at every step, only as we humble ourself will we be exalted.
