300+ Saved, Miracles abound, Unity Turns Around Leadership Attitudes

Zambia receives the message of Unity and hundreds respond to Christ receiving salvation and instant physical healing.

The Beautiful Feet Task Force (BFTF) team of Rev Dr Howard Sands and Pastor Wayne Lyons arrived in Zambia’s capital city Lusaka after a fruitful ministry in Malawi ready for the next pastors and leaders unity conference arranged by Greater Glory Ministers Fellowship, (GreGlo) outreach crusade and a variety of other ministry activities full of expectation of what God would do.

There had been some opposition to participation in the unity conference and some tensions in the previous few weeks regarding preparations, evidence that a unity conference was not only the word of the Lord but also desperately needed.

The conference and corresponding outreach campaign went ahead and tensions were eased as the message of unity started to get a foothold in the lives of those who attended, to such a point that at its conclusion the chairman  of Greater Glory Ministers Fellowship, Bishop Peter Kalumba, relayed a message to us from some of the other leaders of GreGlo who had not participated in the conference, since they had heard the word about unity from those who attended, requested we should bring what we could on this releasing subject at the next ministers fellowship meeting the following Monday to their regular pastors gathering.

Naturally Howard and Wayne obliged and went along and shared a small amount of the message of unity to those gathered, 75% of whom had not been in the unity conference. The result was wonderful to see and a request for a return visit was extended to broaden this message further across the city.  Bishop Peter Kalumba said later that the single biggest impact on him was the unity amongst pastors.

Meanwhile each evening the BFTF team had been speaking at the outreach arranged by Bishop Peter in the street outside his church, the attendance was varied over the 7 nights of ministry from about 60 to approximately 250 people, and yet every night many people responded to the message of salvation as Wayne and Howard took turns to preach the message. Over the first 6 nights over 300 people filled out decision cards and gave their lives to Christ, every night many miracles were recorded of people being completely set free from pain, some were recorded on video and are available at BFTF YouTube channel.

With so many new believers Howard spoke on the last night about the power for service for believers through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and as far as we can tell 26 people were baptised in the Holy Spirit at the outreach on that night.

Pastor Wayne spoke at the Sunday morning service in Bishop Peter’s church and reported that about 75% of the attenders were there for the first time.

Bishop Peter reports that more than 90 people had been visited and one month after our visit 21 people were regularly coming to his church.  Bishop Peter said, “The BFTF team were such seasoned ministers and the church is blessed within our generation.”

During the last few days in Lusaka Howard and Wayne spoke at 2 Bible colleges, a local church leaders meeting, 2 schools  and 2 church services where again miracles of healing happened and lives were impacted for the sake of the kingdom, bringing a broad approach to the purposes of the kingdom, College principal Rev Alexander Bunda said, “The teachings were inspiring and motivating to seriously serve the Lord.”

Howard spoke at Bishop Eddie Mulenga's ministry, Liberty Christian Centre where about 100 responded to take action on the message and several instant miracles were received by members.

This ministry visit was a part of the Beautiful Feet Task Force's commitment through Africa Network BFTF to build resources to help African Christian churches grow, mature & deliver the Great Commission.

Why You Should Join Africa Network BFTF
and what you are missing out on if you don’t.

So what is Africa Network BFTF and why should I join.

WHAT IS IT
Africa Network BFTF is an online platform for all those in any leadership position in the church, Christian NGO or entrepreneurial activities focused on winning the lost, maturing the church in Africa and helps by building connections and sharing resources with physical conferences, leadership training, pastors gatherings and prayer times.

PURPOSE
The purpose of the network is to give African church leaders the ability to connect with other leaders and foreign missionaries of various types to assist the delivery of the great commission in Africa.

The plan is to network ministers, ministries and other Christian networks of all kinds interested in the great commission in Africa for mutual benefit and encouragement, establish national groups in all African nations that join together their individual ministries for a common goal of reaching their nation for Christ, building fellowship and prayer networks among leaders where strategic intents for the nation can be discussed and implemented.

Allowing ministers to provide teaching and encouragement to others, those more experienced to share their insights and wisdom with newer ministries. To connect people through their various skills with those looking to utilise such skills.

WHAT IS IT DOING
Africa Network BFTF is building resources to help African Christian churches grow, mature & deliver the Great Commission.

WHO RUNS IT
It is a division of Beautiful Feet Task Force, an international, interdenominational Christian mission organisation focussed on evangelism and bring the church into unity and maturity.

WHAT CAN IT DO FOR AFRICA
As more and more members join from many different types and styles of ministry, from many countries and regions we are able to facilitate more resources into training leaders to be more like Jesus, in ways to mature the church and bring it into greater levels of unity.

We recognise that there are many types of ministry with many different outworkings, doctrines, methodologies etc  and yet these differences create a wonderful kaleidoscope of patterns and colours that the Father is using to portray His church to the world.
From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. And as each individual part does its work, the body grows and builds itself up in love. Eph 4.16 Berean Study Bible.

Through coming together in times of leaders prayer and fellowship at a local level as well as at special events and BFTF Network Summits and conferences of other groups, the church grows in maturity and develops opportunities to reach out to and positively affect local communities with life changing love and care through the message of Jesus Christ.  The overall practical effects of the gospel on Africa is a development of skills, love, peace, joy, resulting in less crime and corruption, less governmental headaches and people wanting to love and serve their communities and nations; this in turn provides a better standard of living and improved interpersonal relationships.

On a spiritual or eternal perspective, this results in growth in the kingdom of God in both numbers and maturity, bringing more sons to birth and populating heaven with new children for the Father.
"...that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." Jesus (John 17.21)

WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU
As a leader interested in seeing these things happen through practical Christian outworkings you have the opportunity to meet and mingle both online and in face to face situations with other leaders with similar interests even though you may have never met them and perhaps would not ever meet them in the ordinary course of your life; people from your own area as well as other areas of your nation and internationally. People that you can share your insights with to help them with the skills and revelations that you have become confident in.

The beauty of giving this way is that you can also learn from others, build relationship that will last long term, even to the creating of opportunities for your ministry to spread to other churches, areas and countries.

Now with over 3000 minister members from over 95 countries (including 44 African countries) you can effectively grow your ministry and influence thousands of similarly inclined leaders instantly by sharing your revelations, knowledge, skills and events in a number of ways as outlined below.

WHAT RESOURCES YOU CAN ACCESS

The Beautiful Feet Lecture

Why Missions?

Rev Dr Howard Sands

OVERVIEW
Since the mandate of the church given by Jesus to the disciples just prior to the ascension until the present day, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ has sought to make disciples
of all nations.  How, where and by what methods has been the source of controversy, argument and even dissension for over 2 millennia. Yet one thing remains constant in all that, the call of Christ to take the gospel to those who have not yet embraced it and make disciples.

The Beautiful Feet Lecture is designed for Bible and Theological colleges, training schools and learning institutions of various types to both unravel the intent of the great commission and provide inspiration, motivation and practical application of ways in which students of the Word may apply it to their life and ministry both currently and in the future as their ministries develop.

BACKGROUND
Founder and international director of Beautiful Feet Task Force (BFTF), Rev. Dr. Howard Sands is renowned for his passionate enthusiasm for and involvement in the great commission, his practical life examples and humorous approach to teaching and training which helps his listeners to comprehend and assimilate the teaching into their life.

Howard completed his initial training at Life Ministry Bible College, Melbourne in 1976 with a passion to serve God and was quickly absorbed into the ministry at his local church in Mildura, Vic. Australia. He commenced the ministry of BFTF in 1980 and began training young men and women in evangelism and personal victory. Over the years since then through various business endeavours and ministry roles he has gained:-
LUATC II Honours from Life Underwriters Association Australia,
Bachelor Business, majors in Management & Marketing from Charles Sturt University,
Advanced Diploma in Ministry from Hope College, Gold Coast.
Cert IV Training and Assessment from National Training Masters.
Doctor of Divinity (Hon) from Good News International University for 35 years of missions work in evangelism & leadership training for pastors, leaders and church planters.
He has been pioneer pastor of two churches in Australia and through evangelism been instrumental in the planting of about 20 overseas, been a part of the commencing and running of 4 Bible training institutes in Australia in addition to the work of BFTF.

The work of BFTF over the years has encompassed every continent, Howard has won thousands to Christ through crusades, outreaches and personal evangelism, trained thousands in leadership development, church planting & personal victory, his passion remains the strengthening of the local church as the most significant & useful long term method of fulfilling the great commission & establishing the Kingdom of God on earth according to Jesus last command.

THE LECTURE
Designed for Biblical training institutes, this lecture is for all students, not just those pursuing a course in evangelism or ministry. It puts an eternal perspective into all further study in any course, enabling the student to keep a ministry perspective in all pursuits. Various lengths are available based on your course program, student body size and curricula requirements.  Options include:-

  1. 'Why Missions', a 2 hour overview,
  2. 'Why Missions' overview, plus 'The Unreached' interactive, total 4 hour
  3. plus optional additional seminars. (see further details in Additional Seminars).

Why Missions - World Overview - 2 hours
The call, the history of world missions in a nutshell, world population growth and the challenge of unreached people groups. Students will be challenged to see whatever their calling and ministry is, as a function of The Great Commission and attribute kingdom eternal value to their ministry whether pastoral, accounting, cleaning or business. Includes video excerpts from various BFTF missions in India and Africa.

Why missions - World Overview + The Unreached Interactive, 4hour
Includes the above, plus a detailed look at unreached people groups of the world and the opportunities presented by modern travel and technology. A focal point of this lecture is an interactive discussion around ways to engage the church in the challenge of reaching the lost with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  What constitutes a reached community?
Winning the lost in the following sectors;
1/ the non believers in the reached communities.
2/ the non believers in sectors of the world where the church exists but some communities have not engaged with it.
3/ the non believers in areas where there is no church.

The objective being to both inspire students to some engagement in some non believer segment (including developing personal goals towards actualising the great commission) plus brainstorm ideas for church mission engagement in an unbeliever sector.
