Faithfulness, a forgotten virtue

Hebrews 3.² He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. ³ Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. ⁴ For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. ⁵ Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, testifying to what would be said in the future. ⁶ But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.

² He was faithful to the one who appointed him,

He did the job He was sent to do.

Even though in his humanity he said “let this cup pass from me”

Faithfulness is virtue that is fading in our society, but highly sought after, Why?

Because it’s a kingdom principle.

AMP:     The earnest (heart felt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available -dynamic in its working.

Today the church is looking for better plans, methods to enlarge the gospel.

God's plan is to make much of the man

Men and women are God's method

While the Church is looking for better methods

God is looking for better men.

We don't need new and better machinery or new organisations

but men and women whom the Holy Ghost can use,

men and women of prayer, people mighty in prayer.

Holy Ghost doesn't flow through methods but men,

He doesn't come on machinery but men and women,

He doesn't anoint plans but people.

Who are these people:- Men and women of prayer.

When its gone will you be satisfied or will you regret what you didn’t do?

What are you going to give your life to?

Don’t be religious on me now and say, “I’ll give my life to God”  put some legs on it

All the pain and suffering in the world, don’t just say, God bless you,

we need to be able to put some legs on it.

We need a people who are filled with the Holy Spirit, with power to demonstrate the gospel.

Pray for the sick, not just wimpy prayers

Pray and command the healing, demonstrate the power of God.
